The neon-light wall installation Emergenz (emergence) was commissioned by the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) in Lörrach, Germany. It is mounted in the hall outside the auditorium, on a concrete wall above a flight of stairs leading from the basement to the top floor.
