Preparing for the exhibition of the same title (2009) at the Kunstverein Ruhr in Essen, Germany, I made drawings illustrating my designs for the show as well as the model Modifikation—stetig steigende Steine (Modification—Constantly Climbing Stones). It was important to me to test the height and circumference of the columns relative to the gallery’s dimensions in a model before executing the installation.
