In preparation for the sculpture Untitled (Blaue Blume), I created several models. My first objective was to determine the sculpture’s scale relative to the viewer and potential exhibition situations. I then tried out different ways of positioning the eleven nets (flattened patterns) of the cube atop the staircase-shaped basic form.
