100 × 100 × 100 is a collective exhibition born from the inauguration of Atelier968, a new creative working space opening on November 16th, 2024 at Rua D. João IV 968, Porto. The project brings together 100 artists, each contributing one original artwork — in any medium of their choosing, from drawing and sculpture to photography, embroidery, textile, or collage — with a single shared constraint: no side may exceed 100 centimetres in total. Works are displayed unsigned on the front, inviting viewers to encounter each piece purely on its own terms.
Every work is offered for sale, with all proceeds donated in support of communities affected by the conflict in the Gaza and Lebanon region.
I am among the contributors, presenting a work from my ongoing drawing series Porto, begun in 2022. The piece is a graphite rubbing developed from collaged forms inspired by the urban landscape of Porto.
Atelier968 is conceived as a living space for making and exchange — a place where ceramics, drawing, embroidery and ideas of all kinds can take shape alongside one another, and where artists are welcome to work, collaborate, and show.
